The X Slot Acoustical Tile reimagines the standard 2' x 2' ceiling module, transforming a purely functional layout into a compelling, multi-layered architectural canvas. At its core is a precise, centered X-shaped reveal that fundamentally alters how the ceiling plane is experienced. When tiled across a space, the diagonal limbs of each X align visually with adjacent panels, forming a dynamic secondary grid that cuts diagonally across the traditional orthogonal ceiling layout.

The design seamlessly accommodates an optional flush-integrated fixture developed in partnership with Aron Lighting that sits precisely within the X aperture. By selectively illuminating these X-slots, you can highlight the diagonal grid pattern, fusing subtle ambient lighting, sculptural form, and acoustic performance into a singular, cohesive architectural system.

Please Note: As part of our commitment to zero-waste manufacturing, the concealed backing of these tiles may vary in color. We utilize 100% of our production runs, repurposing production seconds as structural backers. Because these backers are completely hidden upon installation, this variation has zero impact on the final aesthetic or structural integrity of your project.

Drop the tiles into any 9/16” or 15/16” tee-grid.

Concealed tile install - tiles fit neatly together edge-to-edge, to conceal the actual grid. 15/16” grid only.
